Mangosteen Family rooms

Mangosteen (/ˈmæŋɡəstiːn/) is a tropical evergreen tree with edible fruit by the same name, native to tropical lands surrounding the Indian Ocean. These trees can be observed shyly growing on the banks of Periyar at Once Upon the River.

Our mangosteen building hosts the family rooms. If you are traveling with your family, with well-furnished interiors with two beautiful four-poster beds and all modern amenities and facilities, you can’t go wrong with this choice. Family rooms have a balcony with an incredible view of the lush tropical trees. Find a mini-bar with some tasty snacks and drinks in the rooms. Mangosteen hosts our multi-cuisine restaurant which is easily accessible from our family rooms. Get a sneak peek of the river Periyar through the tress and find beautiful pathways that lead to some amazing views of the Periyar.
